MRS Systems, Inc. is a medical software company located near Seattle, Washington. We focus on medical imaging patient and report management. Users of our software are radiologists, technologists, and administrative personnel for hospitals and radiology practices. We track and report on breast and lung cancer screening and imaging reports, among others. We also create patient and referring physician portals to support a paperless and environmentally friendly workflow. Users interact with our software to document patient history, risk factors, and the findings of advanced imaging of patients using X-rays, MRI, CT, Ultrasound and other modalities.

Business Analyst

MRS, Inc. is seeking a skilled business analyst to be a part of our development team.  This position requires a strong team player with 5+ years direct experience in information architecture and user-centered design.  Salary is DOE.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Perform complex analysis of business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment create complex functional and/or technical specifications and flowcharts
  • Develop complex planning and design of business processes and systems
  • Develop recommendation for complex changes in order to improve and support business activities
  • Drive requirements gathering, training documentation, data mapping, data conversion and process design and documentation
  • Read and comprehend medical industry whitepapers, academic journals, and business sources as part of the requirements gathering process
  • Analyze and document current business processes, recommend process improvements and develop business, functional and technical requirements and specifications necessary to ensure the technical solutions meet the needs of the overall business
  • Serve as a liaison for IT with the ability to interact with and present to a diverse group of managers, executives, and industry experts
  • Support product management by becoming the Subject Matter Expert in application and business domain
  • Create detailed functional design, technical design input, use case, process and training documentation
  • Provide tier-2 support for critical business issues


  • BS or BA in MIS, Computer Science or related field and 5+ years analysis experience
  • 3-5 years as a Technical Analyst, IT Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and creating functional specs
  • Experience implementing systems following a proper software development lifecycle
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize among multiple concurrent projects, and manage time effectively
  • Proficient in use case writing, creating mock ups & wireframes to aid requirement process
  • Solid understanding and ability to drive process enhancements to improve customer experience with products and services
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, curious minded (naturally inquisitive)
  • Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organization skills / Multi-tasking and be able to deal with ambiguity

Accounts Receivable Administrator

MRS, Inc. is seeking an FTE who is a skilled software developer to help lead our efforts in creating rich, client based, web applications. You will concentrate on the front-end and middle-tier development of exciting and new, client heavy web applications. Responsibilities will also include general maintenance of current and legacy web applications including performance improvement, diagnosis and troubleshooting of bugs, and reducing technical debt. You will work closely with the Business Analysts and Product Manager to develop new applications and website features by implementing a set of requirements, specs, and designs to assure the production and release of quality products. Your voice will be heard! This position requires a strong self-starter and team player with relevant direct experience in user-centered software design.

Primary responsibility is handling Accounts Receivable including processing customer orders, generating customer invoices, and collecting the receivables. Secondary responsibilities include preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules/ledgers and account/bank reconciliations. Supports the senior accountant in carrying out the accounting department responsibilities.

Software Test Engineer

MRS System, Inc. (MRS), a leading manufacturer of medical reporting software for over 27 years as well as a Microsoft Certified ISV Partner, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our QA team. We need an enthusiastic and strong team player with 4+ years’ experience testing application software, preferably in a SQL environment, to contribute their skillset to a fun and exciting cohesive development team.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Create, execute, and analyze test cases for a next-version world-class medical software solution.
  • Identify and document problems with a high level of detail following agreed-upon processes immediately upon discovery of a quality problem.
  • Provide the QA Manager with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.
  • Participate in requirement, design, and test case reviews.
  • Participate with risk analysis pertaining to application quality.
  • Develop and maintain good professional working relationships, especially within the test team and with those who interact regularly with the test team.
  • Focus on the important testing and project priorities as agreed-upon with the QA Manager.
  • Exhibit a demeanor of professional pessimism; i.e., in a pleasant and non-confrontational fashion work with determination to find, document, and advocate the resolution of bugs.
