Users of our software are radiologists, technologists, and administrative personnel for hospitals and radiology practices. We track and report on breast and lung cancer screening and imaging reports, among others. We also create patient and referring physician portals to support a paperless and environmentally friendly workflow. Users interact with our software to document patient history, risk factors, and the findings of advanced imaging of patients using X-rays, MRI, CT, Ultrasound and other modalities.

QA Manager

MRS Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of medical reporting software for over 27 years, is hiring a full-time QA Manager.  This person must be able to show how they can effectively contribute to life cycle development process, manage direct reports, build strong relationships with other managers, and continue to maintain high standards of customer service. 

You will be part of a stable and growing company that makes a difference in people’s lives.  Using the MRS software to track and notify patients of the results of their imaging procedures and what the next steps should be, our software ensures that no patient gets lost and detection or treatment of cancer is not delayed.  This administrative tool saves the facility time and effort so that they can do what they do best: take care of the patient.


  • Manage a team of 6 full-time testing resources to accomplish testing goals
  • Create, with input from the Development team, deployment schedules for product releases and interim service packs
  • Create, manage, and monitor the testing process for multiple software products
  • Assess testing tools and resources to improve testing efficiency
  • Evaluate test plans, test criteria, and test results to ensure product validity
  • Implement remediation plans when tests fail to mitigate errors occurring again
  • Track and report progress on testing status


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field
  • Management and supervisory experience with QA teams responsible for deployment of multiple products
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and related databases
  • Strong Microsoft software experience: Windows, Office, etc.
  • Enthusiasm, and a strong desire to succeed
  • First class customer service approach


  • Certification in software development testing
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA requirements

Software Test Engineer

MRS Systems, Inc. (MRS), a leading manufacturer of medical reporting software for almost 30 years is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our QA team. We need an enthusiastic and strong team player with 4+ years’ experience testing application software in a SQL environment to contribute their skillset to our QA team.

 Responsibilities include: 

  • Create and execute test cases for our widely used medical software solution
  • Identify and document problems thoroughly following agreed-upon processes discovered through manual testing or inbound from customers
  • Provide the QA Manager with accurate estimates for assigned task duration, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies
  • Develop and maintain good professional working relationships with your coworkers
  • Focus on the important testing and project priorities as agreed upon with the QA Manager
  • Work in a pleasant and non-confrontational fashion with professional determination to find, document, and validate the resolution of bugs


  • Must be detail oriented with good analytical skills
  • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a team player and willing to work with internal and external resources
  • Familiar with enterprise wide Microsoft centric systems; testing both functionality and technology
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and related databases
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently in a fast paced environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years software application QA experience
  • Ability to switch between tasks quickly
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a desire to succeed
  • Experience with creating and executing SQL queries
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Experience with Test Complete or another automation tool is a plus
  • Experience with medical/clinical software is a plus
