Meet the faces of MRS.
Mark Morris, M.S.M.I.
President/CEO
-Mark was elected by shareholders as a member of the MRS Board of Directors in July 1999, and was elected President/CEO by the Board in January 2007. Mark had a diverse background in finance, development, management, and also served on several corporate and non-profit boards prior to joining MRS as CEO. He earned a Master of Science in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree from the University of Washington Foster School of Business in Seattle, WA.
Tom Williams
Vice President, Sales
-Tom has been with MRS since February 2001. He began as Technical Support Department Manager and was promoted to Sales Manager in January 2002, advancing to Vice President of Sales in July 2007. Tom has more than 30 years of experience in management, sales, and technical services. Prior to joining MRS, he was the Northwest Regional Manager for Information Network Inc., Operations Vice President at WilliMar Corp / NIS Inc., and the Northwest Regional Manager for a national computer sales and servicing company. Tom's education includes an electronics degree from Lewis & Clark College.
Ralph Porter
Vice President/CFO
-Ralph joined MRS in November 1998 to manage the company's accounting function. In 1999 he was promoted to CFO. Ralph's responsibilities include accounting/finance, and facilities management. He has more than 30 years of financial management experience. Ralph's education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Washington.
Kathy Hawkins RT(R)(M)
Product Manager
-Kathy has been with MRS since December 2005 and has been our Product Manager since September 2009. She began in the Sales Department and was promoted to Clinical Support and Implementation Manager in August 2007. As a Radiologic Technologist for many years, and having worked in hospitals and breast centers in management, Kathy brings unique insight into the clinical environment. She has an AS degree in Radiologic Technology from Greenville Technical College, Greenville, SC and is a registered mammography technologist.
Mike Jobmann
Technical Support Manager
-Mike became a MRS technical support representative in June 1999. A year later he assumed responsibility for supporting and installing HL7 RIS/HIS interfaces. In July 2005 Mike was promoted to the position of Product Support Manager.
Melissa Henry
Implementation Manager
-Melissa joined MRS in July of 2003 and has served as Trainer, Project Manager and Assistant Manager of Implementation. In September 2009 she was promoted to Manager of Implementation to oversee project management and training. Melissa has worked in the software industry since 1998.
Doina Popescu
Integrations Manager
-Doina has been with the MRS team since March of 1999. She began then as a software developer and quickly moved into becoming a Senior Analyst Programmer. Doina is one of our most experienced employees with a background in software development, enterprise system architecture, system integration, DICOM, and HL7 standards. She is most interested in studying and developing ways to use the computing and communication systems to improve quality and efficiency in the healthcare system.
Erin Hell
Program Manager
-Erin became a part of MRS in February of 2004. She has served as a Support Representative, HL7 Interface Specialist, Application Specialist, and now as our Program Manager. Prior to MRS, Erin worked with Microsoft as a Usability Coordinator. When she is not working to better our products, she can be found at home baking with her two kids.
Teresa Lombardi
Human Resources Manager and Integrations Tester
-Teresa started at MRS in May of 2007 as an outside consultant. She was subsequently hired as a trainer and then as the Applications Development Manager. After a short break from MRS, she returned in 2010 as an Integration Tester and part-time Human Resources Manager. Teresa has a BA in Business Administration and an MA in Secondary Education. She brings extensive experience in Applications Development, Human Resources, and Operations Management from her work experience prior to MRS.
Matt Kittleson
Technical Director
-Matt joined MRS in 2009, he has over 15 years of experience in the software industry.
Hedi Westling
Administrative Assistant
-Hedi joined the MRS family in 2009 as an Administrative Assistant. Hedi helps keep the wheels moving here at MRS and has a previous background in Customer Service as an International Relocation Coordinator and documentation specialist. In her free time, Hedi enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
Adam Furukawa
Marketing Manager
-Adam joined MRS in January of 2012 as our Marketing Manager. He has a B.S. in Business Administration Marketing and Management from the University of Montana. Before joining MRS, Adam has spent five years in the culinary industry. In his free time, Adam enjoys spending time with his friends doing as many activities outdoors as possible.
Jill Evans
Applications Specialist
-Jill joined MRS in August of 2011 as an Application Specialist. She has worked in many areas of healthcare focusing on the clinical side of Neurosurgery and EMR systems, as well as moonlighting as a professional Photographer. While not on the road training our customers, Jill can be found working in her garden, riding her scooter, and hiking the glorious trails in Washington.
Cody Arik
Technical Support Representative
-Cody is one of our technical support representatives at MRS. He has been working in various technical support roles since 1997. Cody has experience working at all levels of the industry, from administering basic support, to managing full teams of support agents. In his free time, Cody participates in obstacles races, goes to the gym, plays sports, watches movies,and plays video games.
Dan Uranga
National Accounts Manager
-Dan joined the MRS team in September of 2009 as our National Accounts Manager. Dan has spent much of his professional career in the healthcare industry, holding sales positions with both GE Healthcare and Alliance Imaging. He holds a degree in Business Administration from California State University at Fullerton.
Catherine Strong
Southeast Business Manager
-Catherine joined MRS in September of 2005 as an Application Specialist, and became a part of the sales team in 2008. She has previous work experience as an application trainer in the software industry. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Central Washington University. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Software Engineering. When she isn’t working or studying, she is spending time with her husband and three beautiful children.
James McBride
West Business Manager
-James joined MRS in October of 2003. He initially worked in technical support before becoming an applications specialist and eventually moving on to work as an Interface Specialist. He has since become the West Business Manager. James divides his time between the city and the country and is a certified Scuba Instructor.
Chris Coleman
Northeast Business Manager
-Chris has worked with in the software industry since 1992 and with MRS for almost 5 years cumulatively. He returned to MRS as the Northeast Business Manager in January of 2011 after spending a few years with Merge Healthcare. He has had experience as a Technical Support Representative, Interface Specialist, and Application Specialist. Chris is focused on customer service and team building and finds that maintaining strong relationships are key to success both personally and professionally.
Jim Papageorge
Technical Support Representative
-Jim has been with MRS since January of 2002 and currently works as one of our Technical Support Representatives. He has previous experience in graphic production, sales, and marketing, and has been in the computer technology industry for almost 25 years. Jim holds a BFA in Film and Television from NYU and enjoys an appreciation for movies, music, and the arts.
Jo-Ann Cubbin
Technical Support Representative
-Jo joined MRS in January of 2006 in the Technical Support Department. She has 10+ years of technical background and brings well over 20 years of customer service experience to our support department. Outside of MRS, Jo enjoys spending time baking, painting, and long walks on the beach and puppy dog tails.
Diane Novak
Application Specialist
-Diane joined MRS in September of 2007 as an Application Specialist. She has worked in print media, as well as run her own fine art and design business. She graduated from the University of Washington as an Art major with a minor in French. While on the road training our customers, Diane can be found in the local Yoga studio relaxing and exercising.
Stacy Williams
Project Manager
-Stacy has been a Project Manger with MRS since February of 2008. Prior to MRS she worked as a District Manager over the Northwest Region managing projects and Service Representatives for a national service company. When she’s not managing MRS projects, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and house boating with Sea-Doos in tow.

Don Valdez
Interface Specialist
-Don joined MRS as a Technical Support Representative in February of 2008. In July of the same year he assumed a position of Interface Specialist within our Support Department. Don came to MRS by way Starbucks and has had experience in both customer service and store support there.
