Customer Support PortalPrepare for Microsoft end of support
As you may have seen, Microsoft is quickly approaching its end of support for the following platforms: SQL Server 2008 and 2008 RS will end on July 9, 2019, and Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 support will end on January 14, 2020.
MRS Version 6 cannot run on any server newer than Windows 2008 R2, or SQL program newer than 2008 R2. End of support could leave those systems potentially exposed to outside infiltration because future security gaps will no longer be fixed through software updates.
